Trent Spear is a creative director based in New York City. Originally from Rhode Island, Trent was the youngest of three brothers, a family dynamic that instilled camaraderie and taught him how to take a beating. His journey into the world of creative began in the music industry, where he freelanced as a designer, eventually burning him out but leading him into advertising at Ogilvy New York.

Named to Ad Age's Creatives to Watch in 2025, Trent’s work is a fusion of creative vision, extremely positive energy and strategic thinking. Whether crafting visually stunning concepts or leading teams to produce dynamic work, he loves pushing the boundaries of his creativity. Outside the office, you’ll find Trent playing/talking about sports or hanging out with his miniature schnauzer, Roofus.

The film showcases eBay’s team of real authenticators who ensure that high-end items like watches, sneakers and jewels are actually from the brands they claim.
